Charles Lee Dixon was born October 10th, 1933 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma the son of Alvin "Sandy" Dixon and Inez Dixon (Easley). He passed from this life on Monday, December 7th, 2020 at his home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was 87.
Charles retired from DX Sun Oil Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 55. After retirement, Charles traveled the United States and Canada going to Blue Grass Festivals, NASCAR races and NFR/PBR Rodeos. The highlight of his life was in 2015 when his niece, Galeene took him to the PBR Rodeo in Tulsa and he met his hero, two time world champion, Professional Bull Rider, JB Mauney.
Survivors include his nephew of the home, Scott Dixon and wife, Galeene, of Okmulgee, nephew Tex Dixon of Coweta, nephew David Dixon of Tulsa, two nieces; Teresa Heimbach and husband, Dave, of Broken Arrow; Jamie Pebworth and husband, Steve, of Edmond, Caretakers; Kristy Palmer, LaVeshia "Chocolate Drop" Williams, Peggy Kamm, And Devon Hightower.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 14th, 2020 at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma with Reverend Cordell Coppin officiating under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Viewing will be Saturday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm December 12 and Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm December 13, 2020 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
