Maxine Hill, born April 24, 1930 in Stigler, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 6, 2020 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was 90 years old. She was preceded in death, by her late husbands Thomas Priest Jr. and Roy Templeman, her three daughters Carol Gean Priest and Cletus Faye Priest and Karen Sue Nelson, her parents Marion and Mary Hill of Keota, Oklahoma, one brother Clinton Hill of Keota, Oklahoma and one sister Flora Depew also of Keota, Oklahoma.
She was a long time employee of Swift and Co, later VALMAC, a poultry processor in Muskogee, Oklahoma where she retired in 1980. She enjoyed watching Major League Baseball, especially the New York Yankees.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Priest of Muskogee, OK and Three grandchildren, Kevin and Felicite Kizzia of Warner, Oklahoma, Crystal Hayner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lisa Lafferty of Odessa, Texas.
Six great grandchildren Anjel Kizzia, Christina (Adam) Nicholson, Tyler Chandler, Ayla Cowan, Alexis Wright, Jacob North. Two Great great grandchildren Kaidyn Stringer and Coralynn Stringer, and several nieces and nephews to fondly remember her.
A graveside service will be held November 13, at Whitefield Cemetery in Whitefield, Oklahoma at 1 pm where she will be laid to rest with Thomas, Carol and Cletus Faye. The family has entrusted her care to the Funeral Home of Lescher-Millsap of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to the Whitefield Cemetery account with the 1st National Bank in Stigler, Oklahoma.
