Edgar Farris Lively, 79, of Okay, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 at Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Eddie was born on March 7, 1941, the son of Floyd Lively and wife, Lorene (Carter) in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He attended Fort Gibson Public Schools until 10th grade. At 25, Eddie married the love of his life, Sandra Phillips, on July 23, 1966. Eddie was a kind hearted, wonderful Man, Husband, Daddy and Papa. He was a carpenter and a craftsman that could build anything with wood, that planned, designed, and built the house at 40th St and with the unconditional love for his family, built a home on 40th St. Eddie liked to fish and “cut up,” and joke and have fun with his daughter, Kim. His favorite colors were yellow and red, he has the shirts to prove it, and Eddie would thank Jesus for them daily. Eddie enjoyed being around friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Floyd Ray Lively, Mark Lively and Merl Lively, grandchild, Samantha Bookout Ballard.
Eddie is survived by his wife, daughters; Kim Bookout and husband, Jeff and Tonna Krogstad and husband, John, grandchildren; Amber Chastain and husband, Cole, Cutty Chastain, Bethany Brison and husband, Ty, Ashley Taylor, Brigham Krogstad, and Blake Krogstad, great-grandchildren; Abigail Moon Chastain, Hesston Ray Brison, and Keela Ballard, brothers; J.R. Lively and wife, Jeannette, Jimmy Lively and wife, Kay, and sister, Joyce Russell and husband, Carl and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Funeral services will be held at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Justin Kinman officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home. Viewing will be 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday, October 4, 2020 and 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday, October 5, 2020. Pallbearers for the service are Jeff Bookout, Cole Chastain, Tim Benge, and John Krogstad.
