Leatha Lorene Miller, age 93, passed away peacefully September 20, 2020 in her home. She was born April 29, 1927 in Porum, Oklahoma to Floyd and Della Phillips. She married the love of her life, Chesley Dwayne Miller on January 30, 1947, who preceded her in death in 2008.

Her life was truly a living example of Proverbs 31:10-31 describing a virtuous woman as she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was very close to all of her family, and took diligent care of her mother and father prior to their passing. She was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed the fellowship with her Christian brothers and sisters. Leatha’s hobbies included sewing for her family and crocheting baby blankets for family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.
Leatha is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Diana and Johnny Edwards, Marilyn and Jim Dover, Kathryn and Louis Redden; nine grandchildren, Steven and Linda Edwards, Jennifer Dover, Rebecca and Jason Gonzales, Chris and Rosanna Dover, Amanda Matson, Tobey Matson, Kendra Field, Heather and Ricky Darnell, and Julie and Thomas Dry; two brothers and five sisters-in-law, John Boyd Phillips, Kenneth and Diane Phillips, Jolene Phillips, Doris Phillips, Willie Miller, and Pauline Miller; 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
