Henry Irven Todd Sr. was born December 2, 1930 in Lookeba, OK to William Irven Todd and Crystal Eubanks Todd. The family lived in Porter until he was about a year old and finished first grade before moving to Wagoner, OK where he completed second grade. Third and fourth Grade was in Gore, OK. The family then moved to Fort Gibson, OK where spent 5th through 12th grades and graduated from Fort Gibson High School.

Henry served 2 years active and two years inactive in the United States Army Artillery Division during the Post Korean War. He retired from Muskogee Iron Works after 27 years. Henry married the love of his life Voler Mae Yandell on October 29, 1952. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage and 7 children, Becky Evans, Margie Hayward, Ruth and Danny Phillips, Henry Todd Jr. and Juanita and Terry Todd all of Muskogee, OK. Alta and Russ Hayward of Fort Gibson, OK, and Dorothy and Randy Brown of Council Hill, OK; 19 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife Voler, 2nd wife Mildred, sister Florence Waid, daughter Susan, 3 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; two sons in law, Gene Hayward Sr. and David Hayward Sr. and two daughters in law Connie Todd and Cathy Todd.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am Thursday July 9, 2020 at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Russ Hayward officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am to 8 pm at the funeral home.
