Ernest Edward Hale, 92, of Oktaha, Ok entered Heavens gates and into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Thurdsday, February 27, 2020.

He was born February 7, 1928 on top of Wild Horse Mountain near Stigler to Sherman & Jannie Bell Hale. He met his wife Mabel Simeroth at the age of 18, and married the love of his life three years later on July 29, 1949. They were blessed with a total of 8 children, four boys and four girls.
Together Ernest and Mabel became members of Oktaha Gospel Church, where he became a Deacon and ultimately served as Pastor for 25 years. Throughout this period of his life he enjoyed being a pastor. He also enjoyed singing with his wife and in a group called Gospel 6.
Ernest loved very deeply and all he met gave that same kind of love back to him, especially his family. There was never a mountain so tall or a problem so big that together he and Mabel could not overcome together.
Survivors include his children, Jannie Stockton and husband Don of Porter, OK, Kay Alverson and husband Buddy of Oktaha, OK, Nancy Brown of Oktaha, OK, Dawna Sullins and husband Teryl of Oakwood, OK, Danny Hale of Checotah, OK, Chester Hale and partner Donnie Chance of Oklahoma City, OK and Ben Hale and wife Norma of Oktaha, OK; Grandchildren, Darrin Stockton, Roger Williams, Chrystal Smith, James Greer, Darren Hale, Timmy Lee Jr., Shannon Rogers, Shane Alverson, Ernest Alverson, Jonathon Serrato, Sandy Mae, Jeremy Sullins, Terence Sullins, Pamela Rich, Angela Williams and Amanda Hale. A host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. His brother Chester Hale of Checotah, OK. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mabel, one son Timmy Lee Hale, two grandsons, David Stockton and Matthew Hale and one daughter-in-law Donna Raye Hale.
