Obituary

Marjorie Barbara Ann Bean was escorted to Heaven by Heavenly angels to be with her Lord and Savior on February 13, 2020. Born January 23, 1932, she was born in the Forest Grove Community in Garvin, Oklahoma, to Emma and Harley Wright. Barbara Ann, known as “Bo” to her siblings, was the oldest of 5 brothers and one sister. She was a loving mother to her 8 children. Barbara was a bookkeeper for many years before she moved to Muskogee to be near her children and where she retired from Sears. Always a hard worker and very involved in her kids and grandchildren’s lives. She was known as an excellent cook, housekeeper, & seamstress. Famous for her wonderful hot rolls!! She was a wonderful mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved to square dance and take trips with her sister Bonnie and husband. Above all she loved and served the Lord faithfully.

Barbara loved to be around her large family and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Leon Bean; a granddaughter, Valorie Ann; and 3 brothers Carlyn, Ed, and Doyle Burns.

Those left to cherish Barbara’s memories are her 8 children, Johnny of Broken Bow, OK, Jeff of Muskogee, OK, Don and wife Judy of Muskogee, OK, Rick Bean of Chickasha, OK, Glen and wife Trina of Wagoner, OK, Marsha of Muskogee OK, Martha and husband Mark Dixon of Muskogee OK, and Todd Bean of Wagoner OK; Her beloved sister, Bonnie Snow of Yukon, OK; Brother Jerry Milligan and wife, Glinda of Haworth, OK, sisters in law, Joyce Burns and Sue Burns of Blanchard, OK. Rest in peace dear Aunt Barbara. I will always remember those hot rolls in kitchen, they were awesome buttery. I will miss you calling my Susie, not many did that, followed by the big hugs. Give my daddy and grandma a hug and kiss on the cheek for me.

Love you

Dear Bean Family - So very sorry to read of yours Mothers passing. We knew her and danced with her at the Muskogee Singles Square Dance Club. She was a very nice lady, we had lots of fun with her. I worked at one time with Marsha and we danced with Jeff. The family was all so very nice.

With our deepest sympathy - Ken and Linda (McKenzie) Johnson
