Betty Guinn, Fort Gibson resident was born December 12, 1943 in Muskogee, OK the daughter of Olen and Roxie (Ellis) Garner. She passed from this life on August 21, 2019 in Tahlequah. She was 75.

Betty was married to Walter Franklin Guinn on November 9, 1963. She worked for Advance Linen for over 18 years before joining Walter as a truck driver. She worked as an LPN for Fort Gibson Nursing home for twenty years. Betty was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed going to the casino with her husband and mother in law, camping at the lake and fishing.
Surviving are his children, Eddie Guinn and his wife Christy and Deborah Oliver; 5 grandchildren, Shelsey Guinn, Bobby Oliver and wife Amanda, Greg Pruitt, Deania Igert and husband Mark and Amy Calico and husband Jeremy; 10 great grandchildren Trenton Youngblood, Jaxon Pruitt, Hunter Oliver, Ava Guinn, Ollie Calico, Zoey Calico, Kynlee Morrison, Elijah Guinn, Jayden Oliver and Addie Igert; a brother in law John Guinn and his wife Pat; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Guinn, one son Johnny Lee Guinn, one sister Barbara Rowan, her mother in law Thelma Kitchen, her father in law Edgar Kitchen and a sister in law Linda Millsap.
Funeral services will be Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Pastor Fred Igert officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home. Viewing will be Monday August 26 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
