Wanda Mae Horn, 88, of Gore, OK, was born December 11, 1930 in Gore, OK, the daughter of John T and Ora (Robison) Henson and died Wednesday May 1, 2019 in Muskogee.

Wanda grew up in Gore and attended school there. On December 24, 1948 she married Eugene Horn in Arkansas. After Eugene retired from the Navy, the couple spent 15 years living in Washington state where she spent several years working for the canning factories in the area. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Wanda was a volunteer with the Gore Nursing Home for several years and enjoyed knitting hats for those in need.
Survivors include her son, Larry Eugene Horn of Gore, OK; grandchildren, Antonio Jimenez, Nicky L. Jimenez, and Lydia Rae Lampers; six great-grandchildren; special nephew Jerry Henson; great niece Rebecca Henson Harris and dear friend Lee Taylor who have been by her side through her illness; numerous other nieces, nephews and loved ones and many precious friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene; daughter Vickie L. Horn Jimenez; son Ricky Dale Horn; granddaughter Ricki Dee Jimenez; and brothers William Henson, John L. Henson, and Lemuel Henson.
Services for Wanda will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday May 6, 2019 at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore with Pastor Doug Post officiating. Pallbearers will be David Harris, Gary Harris, Tony Henson, Jerry Henson and Joseph Johnson. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.
Viewing will be on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore.
