Johnnie Alvin Brewer, Muskogee resident, died Tuesday March 5, 2019 at his home. He was 66 years of age.

Johnnie was born February 13, 1953 in New Orleans, LA the son of J.C. and Martha Jeannie (Leonard) Brewer. He served as a cook in the US Army from 1974 through 1979. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Johnnie lived in Tulsa, and then he moved to Grove, Oklahoma where he worked with his father at Jim’s Mobile Home and Transportation Service.
He was a faithful brother and son to his family who was always kind and had a Big Heart. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was greatly loved by family and friends. Johnnie will be missed by all. Rest in Peace, Johnnie.
Surviving are his son Earhart Alvin Brewer and wife Covelle Grable of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Ricky Brewer and wife Lela of Tulsa, Allen JC Brewer and wife Rosa of Jay; one sister, Michelle Matheny and husband Chris of Owasso; his mother Martha J. Brewer-Freeman of Sand Springs; one grandson, Ashton Brewer of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews, Joshua Allen Brewer and wife Gina of New York, Caleb Brewer of Jay, Molli A. Beverage and husband Nick of Mannford, Matthew D. Matheny of Norman and Maggie J. Matheny of Springdale. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Brewer and one daughter April Brewer.
