Beulah Bowlin Lenox, longtime Muskogee resident passed from this life on January 28, 2019 in Muskogee She was 84.

Beulah was born January 8, 1935 in Fort Gibson the daughter of James Henry and Maggie Bowlin. She grew up in Fort Gibson and graduated from Fort Gibson High School.
On December 19, 1953 she was united in marriage to Bobby C. Lenox in Muskogee. Beulah had worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for a few businesses in Muskogee including many years with Rose Lawn Dairy. She loved working in her flower beds and garden. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband.
Surviving are her husband Bobby C. Lenox of the home; one son Dr. Bobby C. Lenox, Jr. and wife Shari of Versailles, OH; one daughter Mary Ann and husband Rick C. Freeman of Muskogee; one sister Marcheta Heil of Muskogee; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one niece and four nephews. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Veta Shinault and three brothers Evertt Wade Bowlin, Claud Merl Bowlin and Calvin Edward Bowlin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 pm.
