Bobby Gene Allison, 76, of Ft. Gibson, OK, passed away on December 17, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Bobby was born in Muskogee, OK to M.T. and V. Elizabeth Allison on August 29, 1942. He attended elementary school at Longfellow Elementary, Muskogee. And completed his education at the Hollywood Jr. High and High School in Los Angeles, CA He worked 20 years for Xerox and another 30 years driving long-haul across his loved United States of America with 17 of these years proudly working for John Christian Trucking, Sapulpa, OK. If you could follow his truck down the road you would see that he loved sharing his love of the Lord by leaving literature on healthful living and the gospel of Jesus Christ. In January 2018, Bobby was honored at the OK State Capital with the trucking industry’s OTA Safety Award for excellence in driving safety for driving 2 million miles accident free with zero infractions. He was nominated for 2018 National Professional Driver of the year. He participated in 2018 Truckers Day at the OK state capital building, and was selected to pull the Soldier’s Wish Trailer honoring veterans.
He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the Navy 1965-69. He was a beloved member and elder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Bobby is survived by Brother: Bill Allison, Niece: Sandi Dry, Nephews: Billy Allison and wife Patti; Jimmy Allison; Bobby B. Allison along with numerous Great Nieces and Nephews and his lifelong special friend, Rosa Lee Tubbs.
Bobby is preceded in death by his Father: M.T. Allison, Mother: V. Elizabeth Allison, and Sister-in-law: Nancy Allison
Pallbearers will be Billy Allison, Brock Allison, Shawn Collier, Steve Szlay, Kenny Lane and Rudy Juarez.
Memorials may be given to Muskogee Adventist School.
The family of Bobby Allison wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the OU Medical Center doctors and nurses, and his loving church family of the Sapulpa Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Muskogee Seventh-day Adventist Church with the Pastors Gilbert Green of the Sapulpa Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating, along with Rudy Juarez of Muskogee SDA Church and Jim Brown of Sand Springs. Burial will be at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements made by Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.
